Joe Biden reportedly used private email to send government information to Hunter Biden

While serving as Vice President during the Obama administration, Joe Biden reportedly used a private email to send government information to his son, Hunter Biden.

According to emails obtained by Just the News, the email content was “deeply personal, others were political in nature, and still, others clearly addressed business matters, often forwarding information coming from senior officials in the White House, the State Department, and other government agencies.” The media outlet alleges the emails were retrieved from Hunter Biden’s laptop.

According to Just the News, the emails suggest multiple Obama administration officials were aware of and in contact with the private email address, robinware456@gmail.com. Under anonymity, a former Obama official told the outlet, “I saw it used to communicate with his family and friends or to pass information to them.”

The Federal Records Act, established in 1950, established a standard for the recording of government information. In the digital age, it ordered certain branches to solely communicate through government servers.

The use of a private email is reminiscent of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In 2012, her use of a private email to communicate sensitive government information was discovered and investigated. Clinton allegedly deleted 31,000 emails before handing what was not destroyed to the State Department.
